Visit Of Dr.Ranade Of IMT-PUNE

Dr.S.S.Ranade Chairman of IMT-Pune,visited the estates under Karnataka Plantation Coffee on the 15th & 16th of August to assess the damage due to the unusually heavy monsoon rains in the coffee growing areas of Chikmagalur & Hassan Districts of India

He along with his team from Pune toured all the member estates to assess the health of the farms & if required suggested curative measures to ensure the damage is minimal.

The rains has eased in the last 5-6 days,in fact the coffee areas are experiencing bright sunshine.The farmers have to be careful now because of the high humidity, fungal activity will increase henceforth .
