Roaster of the Year, Runner-up (2007)

For the second year in a row, Portland Roasting Coffee Company was among the top roasters as Roast Magazine hosted its fourth annual Roaster of the Year competition this fall. Portland Roasting was selected as runner-up again this year for its progressive business practices and quality brew. Third time's the charm?

Portland Business Journal Ranks Portland Roasting Company as # 88 in the Top 100 of the city’s fastest growing companies. (2007)

For the third year running, Portland Roasting Company landed on Portland Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Private 100 List. It was their 19 percent jump in business over last year that positioned the local coffee roaster at #88 on the business weekly’s annual list.

Best New Product - Packaging, SCAA (2007)

The Specialty Coffee Association of America's award recognizes outstanding packaging and rebrand within the industry. Finalists were judged on value to industry, design and innovation as well as overall product impression.

Oregon Ethics in Business, Finalist (2006)

Willamette University's Atkinson Graduate School of Management. This award recognizes individuals, non-profit organizations, and for-profit companies in Oregon that have gone "beyond the expected" in ethical behavior.

For the second year in a row, Portland Roasting gets ranked at among 100 of Oregon’s fastest growing private companies – hitting the charts at #52.

Roaster of the Year, Runner-up (2006)

Portland Roasting Coffee Company was among the cream of the crop as Roast Magazine hosted its third annual Roaster of the Year competition this fall. Although top honors went to Intelligentsia coffee of Chicago, Portland Roasting was selected as runner-up for its high quality single-origin coffees and sustainable business practices.

SCAA Sustainability Award (2005)

The Specialty Coffee Association of America awarded PRC its Annual Sustainability Award for its Farm Friendly Direct™ Program. SCAA recognizes coffee companies that create innovative projects to expand sustainability within the coffee world while inspiring others to do the same.

Portland Business Journal Ranks Portland Roasting Company as # 67 in the Top 100 of the city’s fastest growing companies. (2005)

Experiencing a 26 percent growth spurt over the course of 2005 secured the 10-year old coffee company spot #67 on the business weekly’s annual list.
